Gentle Milk Soap – Farm To Face

$6.00

This milk soap is so special. These days, not too many of us can say that we have a milk man, but I’m lucky to say I do! She delivers the most amazing milk from her tiny family farm straight to my door in glass bottles. I’ve even had the pleasure of helping her on the farm!

When I first started making soap I knew I must make milk soap with this creamy delight. I’ve since discovered that it such a lovely and gentle soap for just about anything, but I particularly love it for my face. It has a soft, velvety lather and leaves my skin feeling clean but not dried out. Plus, it’s unscented so all you smell is the very subtle hit of the oils and milk.

Cheap soap that you buy at the drug store is detergent based and denatures the protein in your skin, damaging it. Milk Soap nourishes skin with natural vegetable oils and minerals, vitamins, enzymes and protein found in milk.

These soap rounds may be small, but they are mighty. They last a long time when kept dry in between uses, because the soap has been aged to allow it to harden properly. Not all soap-makers do this, but it helps the soap to absorb less water, giving you a longer lasting soap! This is a traditional cold-processed soap, which uses Lye in the saponification process but all lye is removed by the end of the curing. The ingredients are simple and effective, just how we love it!!
